Adanac Retains Barnes McInerney as Investor Relations Advisors

Adanac Molybdenum Corporation (TSX: AUA) (Pink Sheets: AUAYF) (Frank: A9N) is pleased to announce Barnes McInerney Inc. has been engaged to assist in the formulation and implementation of the Company’s investor relations program. Objectives of the program include development of comprehensive and consistent messaging and enhancement of institutional and retail investor awareness of the Company.

Barnes McInerney, based in Toronto, is a well established capital market communications firm with a 20-year track record of assisting junior and senior mining companies in the formulation and execution of effective investor relations programs. The Adanac program will principally focus on the Company’s Ruby Creek Molybdenum property near Atlin, B.C. The Company is rapidly progressing toward mine development as it pursues an ambitious drilling program to expand reserve and resource estimates.

Adanac Molybdenumis engaged in the exploration and development of mines to produce molybdenum and other ferro-alloy metals. Adanac’s flagship property is the Ruby Creek molybdenum project, located near Atlin, B.C. The property contains open pit reserves of 143.7 million tonnes grading 0.059% Mo at a 0.040% Mo cut-off grade. The Project’s environmental assessment recommendation will be forwarded to provincial cabinet by July 25, 2007. Procurement of long lead time equipment has been completed and onsite construction is scheduled to begin upon receipt of applicable permits early in the fall of 2007.
